Ms. Summers received her legal education at Boston College as a member of the class of 1990 and was admitted to practice in Massachusetts that same year. As a nurse, she received both an Associates Degree from Lasell College and a Bachelors Degree from Framingham State College. Prior to entering private practice, she was a Medicare Attorney with the Massachusetts Office of Attorney General and Chief Compliance Officer for Fallon Community Health Plan.
Additionally, she has provided General Counsel and Corporate Compliance services to several health care entities including Critical Care Systems, Inc. and MetLife/New England Life Insurance Company focusing in the areas of litigation management, mergers and acquisitions, contracts and corporate compliance. She has presented numerous seminars dealing with health care business law, estate planning and elder law. She is a member of the Health Care Compliance Association, the New England Chapter of The American Association of Nurse Attorneys and a member of the Acton-Boxboro Rotary International. She is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Massachusetts Bar Association, the New Hampshire Bar Association, the National Citizen's Coalition for Nursing Home Reform and Sigma Theta Tau, an international honor society for nurses.

Phil Summers is the Chief Financial Officer and Co-Founder of Provisio Life Services, Inc.He earned his B.S. from Babson College, his M.B.A. at Boston University, and his J.D. from Massachusetts School of Law. Additionally, Attorney Summers is a graduate candidate in Bentley University’s Masters of Science in Taxation.Attorney Summers is on the Board of Directors of the Middlesex West Chamber of Commerce.
Philip Summers is also a practicing attorney as a Principal with Summers, Summers & Associates, P.C. where he concentrates on the areas of elder law, tax, probate and complex probate litigation. Mr. Summers is an expert litigator and his goal is to achieve a prompt resolution to any disputes, while making the legal process as smooth as possible for each client. He is often called upon to assist with contested wills and actions against trustees and executors or administrators. Mr. Summers is concerned with addressing problems unique to the elderly. He works as their advocate and is dedicated to ensure delivery of quality legal services to seniors and their families.
His previous experience includes working in the Middlesex District Attorney's Office prosecuting criminal matters and various positions for Compaq Computer. Mr. Summers is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Massachusetts Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and Middlesex West Chamber of Commerce.
